First control the oil by these simple remedies.Use a good oil control face wash , Neutrogena (oil control face wash ) or the more gentle cetaphil face wash. Like the old saying you get what you pay for... the average store bought foundations such as cover girl will leave your face oily, shiny and so on. You need to invest in better makeup from a department store like Younkers, Boston Store, etc... Try Lancome or Clinque both are good products, not to mention they last longer cause you don't use as much. P.S. Never use your fingers to apply makeup (oil on our skin) always use a sponge.

Personally, I wouldn't recommend liquid makeup if you have oily skin. You should try that really light foundation stuff. I think it's called Bare Minerals. Also use as little as possible. Since you don't have a problem with acne, you don't need to put makeup all over your face. As long as it's the same color as your skin tone, just put it where you need it. What I do is just put concealer under my eyes, and in any areas that are a bit red. Also, in my case, I use it just to cover the up the few individual blemishes that pop up. There's many differents kinds of makeup for oily skin. You can just try out a bunch and see which ones work the best for you.
