I have tried Cover Girl oil control, but it just makes my skin more oily. I do not have probs w/ acne. I use an oil control clenser and loose powder to cut down on the oil. Even blusher makes my skin oily. What brand of liquid makeup is good to use on oily skin w/out making it more oily?
Neutrogena Skin Clearing liquid makeupWhat brand of liquid makeup is good to use on oily skin w/out making it more oily?
You want to use Artistry Oil Control Foundation. It is so awesome and it works great. Your face won't be oily after using this. www.adrennan.qhealthbeauty.com is where you should go because it's not in stores. You really can't lose because if it doesn't work for you they have a 100% money back guarentee. Seriously try it A.S.A.P. you will notice a difference.
Any water based makeup - not oil based. Read the ingredients.
Use powder to set and absorb excess oil during the day.
There is a product called Oil of Olay use it for a while and then trying using Lorelle I think that should help
loreal (if thats how you spell it) i use it and it never makes me brake out
i have oily skin too and i use lanc么me it makes your skin feel really soft and doesn't add any oil to your skin texture. I've recommended it to other friends and they loved it!
First control the oil by these simple remedies.Use a good oil control face wash , Neutrogena (oil control face wash ) or the more gentle cetaphil face wash. The tea tree oil face wash from body shop can also be used. A non alcoholic toner can be used. Use face blotting tissues to remove excess oil from the T zone and around your nose is where you get very oily patches. Try Bare Minerals. I love it. It's minerals-in powder form, so it doesn't build up like pressed powder usually does.
If you really want liquid, try water-based foundation. I think Loreal makes some.
Like the old saying you get what you pay for... the average store bought foundations such as cover girl will leave your face oily, shiny and so on. You need to invest in better makeup from a department store like Younkers, Boston Store, etc... Try Lancome or Clinque both are good products, not to mention they last longer cause you don't use as much. P.S. Never use your fingers to apply makeup (oil on our skin) always use a sponge.
Have you ever tried Mary Kay products? We have specific line for oil control. Do you use an oil control lotion?
MK foundation is oil absorbent and we also have an oil mattifier. Take a look at the website and let me know if there are any sample you want to try.

Personally, I wouldn't recommend liquid makeup if you have oily skin. You should try that really light foundation stuff. I think it's called Bare Minerals. Also use as little as possible. Since you don't have a problem with acne, you don't need to put makeup all over your face. As long as it's the same color as your skin tone, just put it where you need it. What I do is just put concealer under my eyes, and in any areas that are a bit red. Also, in my case, I use it just to cover the up the few individual blemishes that pop up. There's many differents kinds of makeup for oily skin. You can just try out a bunch and see which ones work the best for you.
