How do I get rid of my oily skin?

Even after I wash my face, my skin gets oily like after 5 minutes. Does anyone know how to prevent this? How do I get rid of my oily skin?
Wash your face twice a day, every day. This is the easiest way to help keep it clear of blemishes, since dirt is easily attracted to oily skin. Do not wash more than this though--if you do, you are going to strip too much oil from your skin and that will only make things worse. If you are wearing makeup, make sure to use a makeup remover before you wash your face. Wet your face with warm water, cleanse, and then rinse with cold water. When choosing a face wash, look for one that contains salicylic acid. The most well-known brands for oily skin are Neutrogena and Cetaphil.

Following cleansing, use an astringent or acne-fighting cream to help balance out the skin. If using an astringent, be sure it is not an alcohol-based one and use it only once a day; this will strip too much oil from your face. Acne creams can be used twice a day, depending on their strength.

Whether or not you need to use a moisturizer daily is up to you. If your skin feels overly dry after you wash and apply an acne treatment or astringent, then a moisturizer would be a good idea. Avoid moisturizers with cocoa butter and minerals oils; instead, look for a light, oil-free version, also labeled as noncomedogenic. Finding one that has SPF in it is a great bonus.

Once a week, use a clay mask to help clean deep down into your pores. This will help to clean off any extra oil and dead skin cells. Again, be sure to use this only once per week, or you skin will increase its oil production to compensate.

Sunscreen is still important! If you do not have at least SPF 15 in your moisturizer, then make sure to find a sunscreen that is formulated just for the face. Gel versions are the best for those with oily skin. How do I get rid of my oily skin?
Eggwash works fantastic wonders...

Beat an egg and mix a little water...probably about 2-3 tablespoons of water and beat it together. Rub it on your face and let it dry...it'll smell icky so be prepared but then when your done, wash it off your face and just keep doing it. It'll probably take about a week if your skin is extremely oily but after a week, you should see a dramatic change in your skin type. Then, you should probably continue to do it about 2ce a month.
Take a bath lol.
Talk with a sales person at one of the stores selling Clinique face products. My sister has very oil skin and swears by their products.
don't use anything harsh .. use something like neutrogena. there are Matte-ifyers you can use under your makeup, or alone ... check your local dept store.
