How do facial masks work for oily skin?

I use a kaolin mask once a week because my friend told me that it helps control oily skin. My skin is very oily and I don't really notice a difference when I use and when I skip the masks. Is it working beneath the skin?How do facial masks work for oily skin?

Try looking for ones with sulfur. The kaolin and sulfur absorb oil beneath the skin and other molecules as well.
